Warehouse Management System Analyst

Job Description 

Our client is looking for an Operations Analyst to join their team.  The Operations Analyst will work closely with all warehouse operations to ensure system/process stability and improve the overall operations experience through the warehouse management system. The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail and a competitive drive to fulfill our business demands with the highest efficiency level. 

Key Results Area 

  • Subject matter expert in Deposco Warehouse Management System (WMS) 

  • Maintain an organized log of open issues, questions, and new requests from users and stakeholders 

  • Be an expert in configuration, testing, and issue resolutions 

  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve problems that arise while working with the development teams to resolve any technical issues 

  • Gather internal business requirements required to configure the WMS 

  • Partner with key stakeholders to create plans and timelines 

  • Develop educational content for systems training 

  • Perform data analysis utilizing tools like SQL, Looker, and Excel 

  • Lead ad hoc analysis to evaluate and optimize efficiency, cost, and fulfillment quality (reduce picker travel time, increase pack efficiency, etc.) 

  • Communicate and partner effectively with various stakeholders such as the warehouse team, sourcing, finance, etc. 

Skills & Requirements 

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Management Information Systems, or related technical degree 

  • 1-3 years of experience in Operations 

  • Experience working with complex software, supply chain is a plus 

  • Capable of working and collaborating with team members both technically and functionally in nature 

  • Able to extract data and summarize it to identify/solve business problems 

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and writing SQL queries 

  • Experience creating reports and dashboards 

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, task management skills, and a positive attitude
