Logistics Supervisor
Role Summary
Our client is looking for a Logistics Supervisor to join their rapidly growing team. This position will establish D2C delivery operations in the new market while collaborating with the Brand Ambassador and Smart Fridge teams to build brand awareness and excitement. The Logistics Supervisor will report directly to the logistics management team. The ideal candidate has robust time management and customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and a fantastic attitude and energy.
Key Results Areas
Expanding the delivery processes into the new market
Providing feedback to Logistics Management on delivery strategy for the new market and market intelligence
Delivery to customers using a company vehicle
Supporting marketing efforts and events and interacting with existing and potential customers
Supporting our centralized Smart Fridge fleet manager as needed
Hiring more drivers as needed per market growth
Training drivers and reviewing their performance
Fleet maintenance coordination
Company asset allocation and management
Scheduling drivers to coincide with delivery routes/volume
Coordinating/driving delivery orders to a regional hub
Reviewing deliveries before and after to ensure orders are accurate and business channels are satisfied
Providing customer service for internal logistics inquiries, answering questions, and troubleshooting department & partner challenges
Working with the delivery teams to ensure all transportation laws are being followed and drivers are maintaining safe driving records
Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries to appropriate parties
Serve as a reliable point of contact to balance driver’s health and safety with customer requirements
Ongoing logistics projects and administrative tasks as needed
Execution of routes as needed
Skills & Requirements
At least two years in a supervisory role required
At least two years of delivery experience is needed
1-2 years of food & beverage experience
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Flexible schedule and willingness to work early and weekend shifts
Strong verbal and written/email communication skills
Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly desired
