Role Description 

 

Role Summary 
 
The Advatix Manager, User Acceptance Testing (M, UAT) leads the user acceptance activities in support of the release and deployment of technology products across all Advatix platforms (Desktop, Tablet & Mobile). As a critical product effectiveness advisor, the M, UAT will oversee assigned projects/programs and apply exceptional technical, communication, and interpersonal skills, providing timely and concise information across the organization, ensuring effective deployment.  

 

The Manager, UAT works collaboratively across functions to include, but not limited to, partnering with the Operations and Technology teams, Sales, Marketing, and CXMC teams to ensure that technology projects are ready for launch and optimized to meet and exceed the overall financial objectives. The Manager, UAT is responsible for modeling company values and promoting the company culture. 

 
 
Key Result Areas 

  • Lead the development of test plans for approval to support the release of all tech development to production 

  • Lead the user acceptance testing against agreed test scripts and within agreed timeframes 

  • First-line validation to ensure commercial suitability 

  • Drive the timely resolution of functional faults across Advatix tech solutions to meet business objectives  

  • Monitor tech issues using tracking tools, investigate as appropriate and own the resolution of defects 

  • Manage, lead and develop a team of UAT specialists to ensure the successful execution and innovation of our tech deployment proposition 

  • Responsible for developing, updating, and maintaining the tech program benefits articulation 

  • Supports change management initiatives. 

Knowledge And Skills 

  • Must be able to travel 50% of the time 
  • Advanced experience in system testing in a web environment 
  • Demonstrable ability to provide executive testing updates regularly 

  • Writing test cases BRD'S and systematically running testing and code to go to production 

  • Fulfillment Center background and experience in a warehouse setting - QA testing or UAT Testing 

  • Ability to create and execute a system test plan on a project-by-project basis 

  • Advanced knowledge of IT/eCommerce project lifecycles 

  • Experience in working with and the creating of, business rules, functional specification documents, and other relevant documentation for test planning 

  • Experience working with global teams 

  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project 

  • Familiarity with typical web architecture 

  • Ability to plan and prioritize own work effectively to achieve commercial goals 

  • Advanced level of experience in managing complex stakeholders in a matrix structure 

  • Experience in leading and developing a highly engaged team across the globe 

  • Excellent communicator at all levels 

  • Strong commercial acumen with significant experience in budget setting and management 

  • Highly organized with significant experience in team leadership 

  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of the functional scope of web projects so they can be successfully tested
