Role Description
The (Contract) Recruiter reports directly to the Talent Program Manager and the Director of Organizational Design and Talent Development and will be self-directed to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, employ traditional and creative sourcing strategies, and play a critical role in ensuring engagement with talent. This role is Contract (no benefits) that could potentially be permanent after a probationary period, based on performance.
Talent Acquisition:
- Source and screen candidates with limited work experience and/or education for hourly entry-level labor roles
- Conduct interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating an ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences.
- Ensure a positive experience for all candidates by providing timely, accurate, and relevant feedback.
- Record, track, maintain, and meet recruitment metrics.
- Work closely with others in a collaborative environment, also be self-motivated, and have exceptional time-management skills.
- Harness technology and social media tools as well as utilize traditional recruitment activities.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Minimum 1-3 years experience in Recruiting, Sales Cold-Calling, Inbound and Outbound Customer Service
- Strong technical capability and computer skills, as well as using text messaging for reaching candidates. Solid experience using MS Office Suite, ZOOM, Microsoft Teams, Google Voice, Applicant Tracking Systems, and using social media to recruit. Utilizes traditional job boards like Zip Recruiter, Indeed, and/or Career-builder as a Recruiter.
- Outgoing, friendly, reliable, and self-driven. Someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and celebrating success with the team
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and with frequent interruptions.
- Own the candidate process through the interview, decision, offer, closing, and handoff to HR for offer letters and background/reference checks
- Ability to work independently with strong decision-making and collaborative problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to accurately follow instructions.
- Understands the need for maintaining high levels of confidentiality.
- Access to stable broadband internet, smartphone, and your own computer.
- Experience with Jazz HR and Zenefits HRIS preferred but not required.
- This is a remote position; however, each Recruiter will be assigned a region and must work according to the needs of that particular region/time zone.
