Pedestrian Gate Officer
Role Summary
Our client seeks a Pedestrian Gate Officer to join their rapidly growing team. The Pedestrian Gate Officer will ensure all visitors follow the proper arrival and departure procedures while providing unparalleled service to their clients. As a Pedestrian Gate Officer, you’ll be able to make a difference in the safety, security, and privacy of the clients you serve, a wide variety of work and challenges, and the satisfaction of a challenging career.
Key Results Area
Completion of building closedown
Completion of DAR
Confiscation and notification to a supervisor of any observed contraband
Complete and submit all incident reports
Maintain access control of the pedestrian gate
Scan and search all people as they exit the property
Communicate professionally with all customers, drivers, co-workers, and management
Stay up-to-date and follow all the company's policies and procedures
Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma required; higher level degree preferred
Valid New Jersey SORA guard card
A minimum of a year’s experience in security or loss prevention is required, two to three years is preferred
Valid driver's license is required
Customer service experience preferred
Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Basic computer skills, especially with Word and Excel
