Senior Business Development Representative

Role Description  

Advatix is looking for an experienced Business Development rep to join our growing team. This role is highly visible throughout the organization and interfaces with critical decision-makers across our most valuable programs. The ideal candidate must have the capability to address needs and challenges efficiently, build trust, exercise strong attention to detail, and must have excellent communication skills. Client satisfaction is paramount to the success of this role. 

Key Responsibilities  

  • Build and manage a team of salespeople and relationship managers that will ensure customer adoption and retention  

  • Instill confidence in customers and employees by becoming a subject matter expert in product offerings to both lead meetings as well as answering all questions  

  • Inform market development and product development on themes, trends, and opportunities to keep us on trend and ahead of the curve  

  • Develop and implement repeatable sales processes while establishing a set of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) that will provide insight into the overall value and success of the department  

  • Execute the leadership role on the team, collaborating with peers to improve our offerings, market approach, and growth  

Skills and Requirements  

  • 5+ years in a sales leadership role, key accounts, and critical partnership growth preferred  

  • Prior experience in the 3PL and E-Commerce field is critical 

  • Demonstrated ability to utilize data and metrics to drive decision-making and optimization  

  • Experience working with large enterprise clients   

  • Capacity to manage and prioritize day-to-day operations and multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously  

  • Demonstrated record of accomplishment of successful project deployments with quantifiable results  

  • Extensive knowledge of the delivery industry  

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent listening skills, and the ability to adjust these skills depending on who is in the room  

  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills  

  • Ability to perform other duties and special projects as needed
