Tech Deployment – Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Role Description
The Advatix® Tech Deployment Consultant (TDC) reports to the Vice President, Operations Execution. The Tech Deployment Consultant is responsible for deploying Advatix® technology solutions for our customers while delivering a world-class experience, guiding our customers as they move into the next phase of their growth, using our products and services. The Advatix® TDC is passionate about creating seamless and positive experiences for our customers, exceeding customer expectations helping to secure ongoing revenue, and generating new business opportunities. In this role, the MTSD will blend project leadership skills along with hands-on “doer” activities to ensure assigned projects are executed effectively and efficiently, resulting in highly satisfied customers.
Key Results Areas
Understands the project’s core business problems and requirements, effectively deploying the relevant technology solutions ensuring the product is operating as intended
Hands-on, “Boots on the Ground” mentality, able to identify needs, compare any gaps, and support rollout to customers
Develop training materials and coach individuals and teams on systems in use
Consistently exceeds customer experience expectations related to solutions deployment operations
Drive the design, optimization, and implementation of the company’s Warehouse Management software solutions for customers, utilizing industry best practices and process methodologies
Apply domain knowledge to fully understand and identify how the company’s solutions can be configured and delivered to best meet customer requirements/business processes
Lead solution design to ensure clear construct and validation tasks and timeline
Run surveys across multi-channel mechanisms for customers, partners, SMEs, and internal stakeholders for product feedback
Conduct and/or guide system integration, user acceptance testing, and deployment phases of the project to ensure a seamless transition to our steady-state associates
Regularly provide solution feedback and competitive intel from the field to the Advatix® team
Sustain the balance between project scope, timeline, and requirements to ensure successful time to value and definitive customer satisfaction
Assess business needs that fall outside the standard solution and/or scope, and assess integration complexity, architecture constraints, and/or product roadmaps
Recognize and highlight incremental revenue opportunities with existing customers/projects
Communicate business cases to the Product Owner regarding customer specific needs related to the product functionality and enhancements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and relevant industry experience may be considered in place of an advanced degree
Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations Research preferred
Minimum 2-3 years of specific experience working with Warehouse Management Systems, either as a customer or as a consultant implementing software solutions for customers
Relevant solutions consulting and implementation experience with other leading supply chain planning solutions such as HighJump, Manhattan or Microsoft Dynamics
Current or prior experience working in a management consulting organization or similar roles in a Warehouse, Supply Chain, or Logistics organization preferred
Strong business analysis skills, understanding, and usage of statistical algorithms, inventory optimization concepts, awareness of tactical planning on the overall supply chain required
Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for user, management, and executive-level audiences. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills required
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
Highest standards of accuracy and precision; strong organizational skills
Highly driven and self-motivated, while maintaining a team-oriented mentality
