Warehouse Inventory Manager
The Warehouse Inventory Manager is a key business partner across the organization, effectively collaborating with the Promotional Planning and Sales teams, as well as across the spectrum of our vendor partners. The Warehouse Inventory Manager understands that “inventory” is the fuel that drives the sales engine, and they use their expertise to ensure our inventory “return on investment” is maximized. The Warehouse Inventory Manager is responsible for the development and execution of processes and systems that are used to effectively manage inventory performance
Key Result Areas
Work collaboratively with Merchandising, Promotional to build out the consensus inventory strategy, with the objective of meeting inventory demands, while ensuring maximum return on inventory investment.
Ensure the team employs effective inventory management approaches in support of the companies S&OP process.
Develop and communicate comprehensive department inventory strategies and processes in alignment with multiple channels, department plans, key inventory targets, and financial goals.
Create and execute strategies for the implementation of replenishment and inventory to ensure key financial outcomes are achieved, while proactively identifying improvement opportunities.
Oversee the partnership with merchandise planning and wholesale strategies to meet financial goals and proactively change directions when needed.
Leverage reports and analytics to make recommendations in line with business strategy and goals.
Review buying multiples, minimums, replenished forecasts, lead-times and vendor performance to optimize inventory performance.
Partner and collaborate with management, manufacturing and suppliers to proactively the collaborative forecasting process to drive inventory productivity, product availability and cost productivity.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, inventory management, logistics or other relevant fields, required. Master’s Degree preferred
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an inventory management leadership role.
Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills
Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Discover and analyze discrepancies in inventory data and recommend improvements to inventory control system
Record and review all significant movement of inventory (shipments, receipts, sales, returns, transfers, etc.)

Identify and Measure KPI for Inventory Management
Knowledge with ERP system (Bright Pearl a plus)
Knowledge of Amazon FBA and EDI inventories
