Role Description

BD Solutions provides an integrated suite of solutions to enable the sustainable, efficient delivery of goods and services.  The solutions include purpose-built electric vehicles, first and last-mile delivery solutions, fleet services, and advanced telematics software solutions.  These integrated products and services provide demanding fleet customers with improved efficiency, service levels, and operating margins.  

 

We are looking for a talented General  Manager with proven Commercial Fleet Sales & Service experience to join our organization.  In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing and operating sales and service operations with a focus on serving demanding commercial fleet accounts. 

 

Key Result Areas

 

  • Design and operate a world-class commercial sales and service center for Electric Commercial Vehicles and Advanced First/Last Mile Logistics Solutions
  • Maximize sales and drive loyalty through outstanding customer service and deep product knowledge
  • Provide outstanding customer experience and care throughout the customer journey.  Anticipate and rapidly respond to customer needs
  • Identify, interview, train, and provide continuous feedback to strengthening the sales and service center team
  • Mentoring and consulting to ensure sales and service objectives are met
  • Drive improvements in productivity and customer service in partnership with the corporate sales & service operations team.  Consult on national sales accounts
  • Establish and maintain strong and repeatable processes.  Define work, delegate tasks, and hold individuals and teams accountable for their performance
  • Establish close cooperation with all business stakeholders, internally and externally.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

 

Skills & Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required.  Preference for business or operations and logistics
  • Minimum 10 years of experience managing B2B/commercial account sales and service operations.  Electric Vehicle experience preferred
  • High degree of focus on providing outstanding customer experience, including rapid response to customer questions and concerns  
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets and goals
  • Strong ability to understand customer needs/pain points and propose integrated solutions as a trusted advisor
  • Entrepreneurial and analytical mindset with a great understanding of the emerging industry
  • Strong coaching and performance management skills (teams and individuals)
  • Ability to develop strong collaborative relationships and act as a trusted, trusted partner and leader
  • Confident in learning and using multiple advanced technologies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
  • High degree of integrity and standard of ethics
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel (<25% of month)
  • No felony record
  • Previously licensed to sell motor vehicles in the state of operation
